Bamboo Clothing Co. is a unique idea we came up with as a way live a more holistic and sustainable life style. Our original goal was to present a product that reflected our beliefs completely. Something unique we could share with others and support our hunger for Music and Community with Conscious folks. It started back in 1997 selling Hemp necklaces at shows in the Pacific Northwest.
I could talk about Bamboo all day. I think it drive some people a little crazy. I started becoming facinated with it in Maui a few winters back when we were considering a low impact home. I discovered that Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on the planet. It can grow up to 4 ft. in one hour, for short bursts. It requires very little water, zero pesticides, and grows back after harvesting it. It can be converted into anything from Fuel to Fabric.
I really believe that Bamboo can change the World, so much so that I have invested everything I can into supporting and fulfilling the vision of a Living Breathing Planet! One that lives, works and plays in Bamboo. Join us as we sing the Bamboo National Anthem… just kidding!
